Cycling circuit through Heulos Forest Park

We start on the international cycle route no. 26 (Třebíč — Jihlava — Raabs) near the Brno Bridge. Heulos Forest Park, the first part of which was planted in the middle of the 19th century, continues to the Art Nouveau bridge U Jány. A single tram line once ran this way, connecting the city centre with the main railway station. Above the zoo, whose five continents are also definitely worth a visit, we can notice a building, called Hrádek and built during World War II in the Old Germanic style. Along the right course of the river Jihlava we reach Havlíčkova Street, turn right in front of the railway bridge and follow the cycle path No. 26 to the footbridge to the building of the Central School of Arts and Crafts Helenín. You can learn about the importance of local manufacturer Karl Löw for the development of Helenín in the walking route Behind the history of the textile industry. Along the way, at least we can see the stark features of Löw's former villa, built in the Tudor Gothic style. The villa resembles the building of the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Through Hálkova and Soukenická streets we reach the cycle path, which leads through the Březinova housing estate, and the B02 cycle path through the Heulos forest park and past the zoo we reach the destination of the road on the Brno Bridge.
