Originally a Renaissance fortress, today it is a cultural monument owned by the town.
The three-winged one-story building is used today for the needs of the Town Office, there is also a library, a mirror hall, a ceremonial hall, a photo studio, a modeling workshop and one apartment. The premises of the castle are freely accessible every year during the Jeníkov pilgrimage, but after prior agreement with the mayor of the town, a tour is possible at any time of the year.
The left wing of the castle is used for exposition RAF Museums.
