Currently the castle is privately owned and tours are not possible. You can see the bulk of the inventory at the castle in Jaroměřice nad Rokytnou.
The baroque building with an extensive English park was built 1739 — 1747 by Maximilian Oldřich, Count of Kounice, on the site of the original castle destroyed by the Swedes during the Thirty Years' War.
The castle is privately owned, periodically the owner is allowed guided tours of the castle and the adjacent park.
